Topics: HTML5/CSS3 "State of the Union"

Our guest will be Arlen Walker, who wowed us last year by showing off HTML5 (see video) and since it's been a year, we figured it would be good to see how things have progressed. And just for fun, we're gonna have Brian Artka join us and we'll throw in CSS3!

If you've not yet gotten into HTML5, come and find out why you should. If you're already using HTML5, come and show off what you've done, or what you plan to do, or what doesn't work. Flash developers, you can come too! We'll let you see how you'll become irrelevant in the future. (Just kidding!)

(Street parking is free after 6pm, and there are dining options nearby.)

Sidekick Needed!

For the June 2010 Web414 Show (uh, Meeting) I am in need of a sidekick.

We'll be interviewing Todd Sattersten about the future of publishing, and while I'll be sitting in the captain's chair, I am in need of a second-in-command.

Sidekick duties include yelling loudly, making comments, laughing, and providing witty banter.

If you are up for it, reply here, or if you can do it in 140 characters or less, reply to @web414 on Twitter.

(We also need a camera operator, so if that's more your bag, let me know!)
