If you’re a coder, designer, or just someone who enjoys software and technology development, MilwaukeeDevHouse was made for you... MilwaukeeDevHouse is intended for passionate and creative technical people that want to have some fun, learn new things, and meet new people. Update: There will also be a "Milwaukee Tweetup" happening during MKEDH3. So if you're a Milwaukee Twitter user, show up and meet others. (Social Media, FTW!) MilwaukeeDevHouse3 is sponsored by Paladin Web Services.
Bucketworks Also listed on Facebook. One more thing... We'd appreciate if you use the signup here (you must be logged in) even if you signed-up elsewhere, just so we get a good idea of how many people plan to attend.

webzine
I plan on seeing how quickly I can assemble a weekly chess webzine while I'm there, but since the deadline for this is very slack, if there's something else you want me to work on, just talk to me and we'll see.
have fun,

What's that WorkingWriter Doing?
Well, let's see ... I can stay home and work on openSUSE Linux 11 Unleashed by myself, or do it with a bunch of others while soliciting ideas for building my website.
If I have the slightest bit of energy left after the long week...I'll see ya there!
If I'm bored, I might try to
If I'm bored, I might try to do a Drupal install. I haven't played with it yet, and I hear it's all the rage with the kids.
If I'm feeling antsy, I might work on any number of my current photo projects, which includes betsson everything from editing road trip pictures to setting up a process for an event photobooth.
I can't make it...
But I thought some folks might be interested in this:

My Project Ideas
Since it's a DevHouse, I have a bunch of webdev projects to start/finish/mozy through. Don't think I'll need help with anything, but fellow coders help the overall vibe.

If all else fails, I'll just hang out all night, being lazy and talking with people.
iPod/iPhone application and Cocoa programming
I'm looking to make a "hello world" type application for my iPod touch which means I have to learn a little Cocoa. If doing that is a breeze then I will try to make something more complex.
I'm also interested in rasters gPhoto project (I can bring another compatible camera for testing purposes). If we have enough cameras we might even be able to make a REALLY "ghetto" version of this http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-Enter-the-Ghetto-Matrix-DIY-Bullet-Time/ It just so happens that I've already created an application with vvvv that can load a directory of images into ram and step through them pretty damn quickly. It was actually built for a matrixesque bullet time setup.
edit: oh yeah, I might also be messing around with Ableton Live or puredata.
Sitrucious's Projects
Royce's Projects
I will be working on one of the following things:
1. Creating an semantically palatable GCC-AVR library for talking to Robotis Dynamixel servos. The vendor supplied code is pretty crude.
2. Creating a wxWidgets GUI interface to AVRDUDE so it is easier for new folks to use all the cheap custom programmers running around.
3. Design and code an autonomous robot and associated contest to push steel cans around. The contest needs to be targeted at entry-level roboticists.
Projects
I have the intention of working on a weekly web chess magazine, but I'm open for other projects, so if you want some assistance, talk to me.

My Projects
I've got a few things I want to work on...
1. Install gPhoto on my Eee PC and make it function as an intervalometer.
2. Get the Bucketworks screen printing machine up and running.
3. Update my WordPress sites...

Now this is something I can help get working, seeing thats what business I work in
