Volunteer needs

  • promote the event - amazon considers success at 20 participants
  • manage catering with Quasi Cafe
  • manage bucketworks
  • welcome guests and speakers day of - i will provide you a key
  • set up cafe - you will need to move the tv from the design room to the cafe, i will be able to train before i go to japan.
  • getting the check from amazon for the event, because i will most likely front the catering bill.

I should be able to handle

I should be able to handle promotion on OMC. We might need some kind of press release discussing what is actually happening. Amazon considers 20 people a success? Surely there are 100 people who would could use their information.

Should be interesting in any case, but what exactly will she/he/they talk about? Web Services? Associates? Kindle? Why their bestseller algorithm for "SuSE Linux" doesn't include "openSUSE" titles (OK, that one's selfish)?
