November 2007 Web414 MeetingThursday, November 8th, 2007 — 6pm/7pm

This meeting will happen in two parts. The first part will be a dinner at 6:00 PM at Chipotle near MSOE where the organizers of BarCampMilwaukee2 will discuss how the event went. What worked, what didn't, what we have left to do, etc. If you were involved in the planning and organizing, we really want you there. Anyone is welcome to come, but the focus will be on wrapping up BarCampMilwaukee2.

We plan to finish dinner before 7:00 PM and then move over to MSOE for the actual Web414 meeting. The topic will most likely be the larger picture of BarCampMilwaukee2 from the perspective of participants. What did you learn? What did you share? We'd also like to discuss DrupalCampWisconsin planned for January 2008, and any other issues at hand. (Gabe say he will have an actual agenda. Yay for Gabe!)

Are the Web 414 meetings

Are the Web 414 meetings only for moderators and old users or can new users join an meet the team? I'd like to be able to talk face to face to some of you who's opinions on the site really made me curious about them.

Food Venue

Next time lets check to make sure we have more space than a bathroom to eat my taco.

Blame me

Let's have someone actually familiar with dining in Milwaukee choose a place. Did anyone know it would be that crowded on a Thursday night?

I do feel that Chipotle benefited from us being there though.

not needed

I don't blame you, it was funny cramped, like a clown car! The locals realized that Chipotle was a bad choice at about 5:00PM the day of so it was our fault!

Opps.

I mistook this meeting for the web meetup. Went to the wrong place. I'll be at next months.

Vid Stuff

I haven't gotten confirmation on this yet, but I think Pete will be letting me show a little video at the meeting as well. I promise it will be short. ;)

Let you?

You don't need my permission. Let Chaos Reign!

Agenda is Live:

I have tried to create an agenda that focuses on the participatory nature of BCMKE2. I put it on the BCKME2 Wiki so that it can be edited at will by the community.

It's not so much an agenda as it is a means for us to ensure that the discussion doesn't degrade into wild ramblings that ultimately end up with us all wearing unicorns on our name badges.

Please make your own editions to the the proposed agenda at < a href="http://barcampmilwaukee.com/Nov8"> http://barcampmilwaukee.com/Nov8
