I am announcing a new day-time meeting in Brookfield for people involved or interested in graphic design, web development, video, or print. This is the first time the consortium will meet, and there are approximately 6-8 people planning on attending so far. November 2008 Web414 Meeting — Thursday, November 13th, 2008 — 7pm Topics: Managed Virtualized Dedicated Servers, jQuery Robb Myers from NetSonic will talk about how virtualization has taken the burden of managing a hosted server off of the customer and put it on the hosting company. It will also cover the benefits of resources, "crash" resistance, near seamless hardware upgrades and disaster recovery in hours rather than days.
